I work on gender issues which does not have to make me a feminist. What is a feminist?
I know some gender consultants who dont look as feminists to me because they are not activist, they do not want to change anything. It is only a job they learnt how to do.
Even if legitimate, I think this is not my position. I want things to move and I know that change can only happen thru politics, law and social movements.
No hope that any administration, government, bureaucracy is going to change anything.
Should all women be feminists? Yes, from my point of view they should, assuming they want to have more power and freedom over their own lives, which is one of the basic needs and aspirations of any human being.
